UFO..unidentified flying.... Ohno XD

XDDD Just watched AniS XD.. and honestly, I was looking forward for the UFO episode than anything else. Because UFO's are controversial around the world. It helps that Ohno was picked for the task XDDD. 

I laughed though when he was made to sit with that ridiculous outfit. Erm, question is why do they give him comedy type tasks? I have yet to see a serious task assigned to him.  

Guys what did you see in the vid? I really just saw a shadow and a blinking light but that could just be a reflection of city lights and that's what I believe it is.  Really, I must give props to the man for going through this with a straight face.



why does it feel so hard to see updates with Type pad -kun? Is it me or just the format in itself?

oh no!

vox is shutting down in a few weeks.... and this is the only blog site I know.... Some of the best thoughts of other ARASHI fans were and is still being read here. To myneighbors, If you don't mind adding me in your other blogs? I still would like to stay connected with you guys even though it's here in the webbie. Still have to make an LJ account. Hope we stay connected..really thanks for sticking it out with me and my ramblings. XD

I am being sucked back in...

Haven't been here for a time.XD And I see my last entry was weeks ago.. Ah but you know.. I was bored since I really couldn't find anything good to watch after having watched *ehem* MAOU two years ago, I honestly cannot say that I have been that obsessed with any other Jdorama. Yep, watched but not that obsessed. 

Now through the gentle nagging of friends *thank you*, I've just finished You're Beautiful. Not exactly the best of dramas but it does have it's moments. Actually reminds of HYD characters. Spoiled/brooding/silent/quirky/rich/famous and poor characters rising up to fame or somewhat similar to it. Somehow, I didn't want  to leave it unfinished because I wanted to know the real story behind the spoiled/rich character and the father of the chick. And if the silent/caring Shin Whoo??? can at least win GMN in the end (unlike this drama's other predecessors). But, it was obvious after the third scene that nope that wouldn't happen. Typical. I had to fast forward  some cheesy parts and veeery looong crying scenes which frankly were becoming annoying after so many freaking times. Just how many close ups do you need to convince people watching in Korea that yes she's hurting inside every time she's with him.... Duh, we get it already. See how annoyed I got? 

But aside from that, there were ads for some other good Kdramas which I really found very interesting, Looks angsty though. Maybe I'm going to give it a try.

Really can't get into any other Jdorama's right now, everything I've browsed that others seem to like are teen/highschool oriented. Cutesy stuff and bordering on the ridiculous. Am not really on the mood for that now. And yes, already watched some movies during summer time and nope don't want to sit in a movie theater right now. Actually just wanted to watch asian dramas for once. And here I am....looking for any other interesting dramas. Got any recommendations?

I really like how they sang the last song on MS. The lights at the start and the shift to their solos or duets.... It was real and live. Unfortunately, I'm not sure about the title of the song... maybe Refrain(?) XDDD I am starting to forget which song is which from the setlist of their album.

Now the question is "why in the world did they let Ohchan use a flowery top on that performance?' XD..maahnnnn.. I can never understand the reasoning of the stylists they have. I mean, it's not bad. Bu the cool image of the song does not match his clothes.... XD..but his voice was good. I noticed he was controlling it. I guess the cough hasn't gone away yet during this perf huh? 

Off thsi topic... about the Meisa thingie that I kept reading about. It's really none of my business and I'm not one of those rabid fangirls that bite off peoples' head for suggesting a pairing but.... nooooooooo, I don't want a couple out of this two or even know the private relationship of these two (if they ever have one). I would like to think that this guy has a lot of growing up to do before it comes to this.... now I see why they keep their private lives sssooooooooooo private... to keep batshit fans like me from screwing their lives up.... nah... I would think I'm a big girl enough to know the reality from fantasy but just the thought..... nope. And i'm all for his happiness. Cheers!

Just so people know, tis was written with an EtOH level of >8. Probably. So excuse the incoherent ramblings that i tend to do... for the growing up part that I wrote up there... It isn't Ohchan that needs growing up but me.... bleh... sometimes I still think like a teenager.... no wait.. was   that all the time? XD... or so some of my friends tell me... oops.... ciao me sleepy.

Concerts..

I really should be feeling excited as I read them perform, and I am. But there is always a part of me that gets frustrated when this time of the year comes. That is the irrational part of me. The fangirl wanting to see the boys but most of all to hear her ichiban sing live.

Yes, irrational since I don't have a clue what they would be talking about during the concert and I would probably get lost (I did say i was bad at directions before didn't I?) going there. I would also have the language barrier as a problem to deal with in navigating the place.... Well, my head says its not practical but my innards say why not go? The fangirl at this time is rebelling, especially when she feels she is being neglected. The resources are there. I can even make time to travel around the globe if I wanted to. But the RL me is beating the fangirl into submission and making her think things objectively. Plans must be made, schedules to rearrange, people to talk to, papers to fill out and lastly tickets to buy... Too much time to be used up for a three day holiday trip...the fangirl knows it would be worth it, but the RL me is screeching to a halt. XD... I'm not making sense but  you can  actually feel the warring emotions inside of me.

My consolation would be if they ever decide to do the concert in Hawaii, that would be the closest thing I could hope for in mixing extended holidays and fangirling pleasures.XD

Fighting Back @15

Not really related to my fangirling but I just stumbled on it on cable. My thoughts.... damn, I didn't know that overweight children really can get that REALLY BIG. Their size is no laughing matter. 15 years old at 510 lbs (that's like 3x my weight)...whoa, the measuring tape won't even go around her waist. 

I'm glad they are determined to get to their normal weight. And I hope they succeed. Go girls and boys, you have your futures in front of you!

Sad truth

yep, I've read somewhere on tweet that they hate the album.. really? Hate is such a strong word and should be used sparingly.. What's funny is that in their personal blogs they say they love a certain members solo and this and that. I'm not going to argue. 

So yes, there are haters or posing as haters(?) because of their biases? I'm  thinking its the difference in tastes and opinions are where this stems up from. But I've noticed a pattern since the boom. People with these peculiar tendencies tend to have a die hard inclination towards a certain member of the group and tend to focus solely on them ignoring the other four. Even putting them down so bad. 

I will admit I have a bias towards Ohno but I do appreciate the efforts of the other four members, especially when their songs are really good as a group. But these fans are really different. So let them seethe and maybe in time they can appreciate the side of ARASHI as a group in the near future.

Listen Up

Definitely. Yes. i love some of the songs. I don't know the titles of the songs except for  A Silent Night and Moving On. The song マダ上ヲ should be listened to at high volume with speakers blaring. It's actually catchy. A rap/fast song of ARASHI that I actually really really like even with the the autotunes.

I don't really understand why people are complaining. Have they heard the whole album when they were griping or only a part of it? The song リフレイン  is also very nice in itself. The vocals were strong and everything actually blends and harmonizes. And for once I listened to the whole song of Jun without grimacing *dodges knives*.

Other thoughts on some songs.

Rendezvous is actually jazzy/poppish in style but not too much. I can totally see them dancing in this one in white  just like Sho's outfit in one of his solo's.

ギフト. this song made me cry even if it's without the translations. I'm sorry, but I liked Ohno's solo here soo much. I kept that on repeat.

Let me down. The beat seems to be patterned in some 60's disco beat tweaked to fit the century.. but not bad. It takes a little getting used to though.

 むかえに行くよ  also  sounds familiar yet not. But I do like the beat. I doesn't make me feel tired while listening to it. This means I won't skip it when it comes on.

Kagero....mmmm... I think I have to get used to this song a little bit more... and yes it sounds like something for an anime. 

Summer splash.. Looks like they were having fun here. I imagine water. Lot's and lot's of water. don't know why.

This is definitely not a full pledged review because I only placed the songs that really caught my interest. And yup there are songs that may sound repetitive. Let me down and Summer splash almost has the same techno beat to it (that is as I said it almost like something from the 60's or 70's). Take your pick.
